Masters Swim/Tri Program

$25 Club Fee (monthly)

Coach Dirk Marshall has created the premier Masters program for swimmers in Midtown, Heights, and Downtown areas. There are currently 50+ swimmers participating -- from beginning swimmers, to competitive triathletes, to former Division I college swimmers -- and the masters team has won several regional and state-wide competitions in recent years.

(Masters are swimmers 18 years and over)


Location: UofH Recreation Center. 4500 University Drive, Houston, TX 77004

Practice Times: Mon-Thurs 7:30-8:30pm, Fri 5:30-7:30pm, and Saturday 10:00am-noon

Coaching Fees: $25/mo and to gain access to the UofH facility, there is an additional payment of $24.75 per month (for a 1 year membership) to UofH for recreation center membership paid directly to UofH).

UofH Parking

Purchase a parking pass from the Welcome Desk inside the Recreation Center for $10. The pass will be pre-loaded with $10 worth of parking (600 minutes). Use the parking pass in the parking garage across the street from the Recreation Center on Calhoun Rd for $1 an hour (charged on a per minute basis).  Swipe the hang tag when entering and exiting the garage.

When the $10 runs low, re-load the parking pass by visiting the Parking Services Office in the Welcome Center Garage. The Parking Services Office is located on the lower level of the Parking Garage in the north-west corner and it is open M-T 7:30am-6pm and W-F 8am-5pm

Annual Fee of $384 per year - Fee is paid monthly ($24.75/mo) *

UofH Recreation Center

Participation in Masters Swim/Tri program requires membership in the UofH Recreation Center -- one of the best recreation facilities in the region. Masters/Tri swimmers will gain access to the expansive center which includes a 1/4 mile indoor track, outdoor leisure pool, climbing wall, and all the other fitness equipment and facilities you'd expect from a top-tier facility.

Membership allows you to enjoy all of the amenities at any time of the week including aerobic classes and equipment rental. 

*a $100 cancellation fee will be assessed by UofH if membership is cancelled before completion of one year.
